Correct One Side, Reverse Second Side - most popular configuration. It consists of one piece of fabric with a "bleedthrough" or reverse image on the back side. Correct double sided - two flags are sewn together to give a double correct image. One or two liners are used to ensure opacity. Correct one side - one side print only (rarely used) High Durability - Most often used for outdoor flags and banners, each design element is cut and seamed using multiple rows of stitching. Combined with selected fabric choices, the end product will result in a presentation able to withstand harsh conditions. Variety of Color - Rich, clean, and textured designs can be achieved but are limited to solid fabric colors. While no halftone or process colors are available, "layered" fabric can provide multicolored designs. Half-toning or color graduations cannot be replicated with this process. A great way to produce interior flags, special event flags or limited use outdoor flags, digital flags can be printed onto a Dacron fabric (similar to nylon) or Car Flag fabric. Advantages to this process lie with low production runs. The process is full color, so knock yourself out with color! Unlike silk-screening, there are no screens to burn and setup is accomplished through computer technology. Appliqué: A traditional process, appliqué is the technique of sewing separate pieces of fabric onto a base material. Used for interior and exterior application, this process features:Silk-Screening: Used for higher volume runs, silk-screening is a great choice for outdoor presentation because of durability to outside weather conditions. Printing costs include creating individual screens per color of design. Graduation of color (half-toning) can be accomplished with this process. Silk-screening is cost effective when initial setup can be amortized over larger print runs (typically over 12+ pieces). |
